What It's Like
Being Here
Tucked among towering deodars on the quiet side of Kasauli, our rooms are designed for those who seek stillness, beauty, and the gentle rhythm of mountain life. You hear your own footsteps. Our property sits at about 6,000 ft, surrounded by deodar and pine, with a clear view of the valley below.
Most guests tell us they didn't plan to do much — and that was the best part. A book on the balcony, a walk to the Kasauli Club road, chai at sunset. That's a good day here.
Wake Up to the Valley
Open your curtains to the Shivalik hills disappearing into morning mist. No alarm needed — the birds handle that here.
5 Hours from Delhi
Close enough for a weekend, far enough to forget the city. Most of our guests drive up from Delhi, Chandigarh, or Gurgaon.
Evening Bonfires
We set up the bonfire every evening around 7pm. Bring a sweater, we'll handle the chai and the marshmallows.
Pahadi Nashta
Start your morning with freshly made parathas, local honey, and chai brewed the old-fashioned way — on a slow flame.
Our Story
How Pine Needles
Came to Be
We bought this land in 2018 — a sloping plot with nothing but pine trees and an incredible view of the valley. It was supposed to be a family weekend home. But every friend who visited said the same thing: “You should let other people experience this.”
So we did. We built the first room ourselves, chose every piece of furniture, tested every mattress, argued about tile colours. The rooms are simple but comfortable — wood floors, clean linen, hot water that actually works, and windows that open to the sound of the forest.
We're not a hotel chain. We're a family that fell in love with a hillside in Kasauli and decided to share it. That's really the whole story.
